| Resumen : | Este artículo presenta una investigación sobre la influencia del género en el gobierno corporativo en la industria textil delEcuador, basada en antecedentes que destacan la importancia de abordar la desigualdad de género en el entorno empresarial. Los objetivos principales de la investigación fueron determinar la influencia del género en los niveles de gobierno empresarial y verificar dos hipótesis formuladas al respecto. Se utilizó una metodología mixta,que incluyó encuestas dirigidas a empleados del sector textil.Los resultados resaltaron la importancia del género en la toma de decisiones y la estructura de gobierno en la industria textil ecuatoriana. |
| Abstract: | This article presents an investigation on the influence of gender on corporate governance in the textile industry of Ecuador, based on antecedents that highlight the importance of addressing gender inequality in the business environment. The main objectives of the research were to determine the influence of gender on the levels of corporate governance and to verify two hypotheses formulated in this regard. A mixed methodology was used, which included surveys directed at employees in the textile sector. The results highlightedthe importance of gender in decision-making and governance structure in the Ecuadorian textile industry. |
