| es_EC |

| dc.description.abstract-en | Within the Faculty of Engineering of Applied Sciences, in the degree of Engineer in computer systems and software (redesign career), the objective was to determine the current state of mental health of the students of the career, mainly analyzing the results that were obtained in the application of the Hamilton Anxiety and Zung Depression tests. There was a population of 351 students, who met the inclusion criteria (being legally enrolled, belonging to an established level and attending classes). As a relevant result, it was possible to verify high levels of anxiety and depression in the first semesters of the race, from the sex variable, men had higher rates in mild and moderate depression and in the entire population applied, showed significant rates in mild anxiety and Mild and moderate depression. These results were related to the analysis of some variables such as academic pressure, loneliness due to mobility and emotional breakdowns, to check if there is a relationship, with the incidence of suicidal at tempts and behaviors and to present a protocol focused on mitigating autolytic attempts. | es_EC |
