dc.description.abstractEl propósito del estudio fue determinar cuáles son los organizadores gráficos (OG) más utilizados por los docentes de la Universidad Técnica del Norte (Ecuador), así como precisar el nivel de habilidades que reconocen tener en la elaboración y aplicación de los OG. Se revisó la literatura especializada y se realizó una investigación de campo aplicándose un cuestionario a profesores de la mencionada universidad. Se evidenció que la principal dificultad para la elaboración de estos organizadores estriba en la estructuración de los contenidos y que los OG usados más frecuentemente son: cuadros sinópticos, mapas conceptuales, mapas mentales y mándalas. El 75% de los encuestados indicó usar dichas estrategias didácticas, aunque la frecuencia en su empleo es limitada. Las habilidades en su elaboración y aplicación son percibidas por los encuestados como insuficientes. Se plantea el enfoque constructivista y el uso de las nuevas tecnologías para superar las dificultades detectadas.es_EC

dc.description.abstract-enThe purposeof the study was to determine which graphic organizers (GO) are most used by the teachers of the Technical University of the North (Ecuador), as well as to specify the level of skills they recognize to have in the elaboration and application of the GO. The specialized literature was reviewed and a field investigation was carried out applying a questionnaire to professors of the aforementioned university. It was evidenced that the main difficulty for the elaboration of these organizers lies in the structuring of the contents and that the organizers used most frequently are the synoptic tables, the conceptual maps, the mental maps and the mandalas. 75% of respondents indicated that they use these teaching strategies, although the frequency of their employmentis limited.
