| dc.description.abstract | El trabajo presenta el diseño y evaluación de un programa de capacitación en consumo responsable dirigido a clubes estudiantiles de la Universidad Técnica del Norte, Ecuador. Se aplicó una encuesta autoadministrada a 22 líderes estudiantiles de 12 clubes académicos de diferentes facultades para diagnosticarsus nociones de sustentabilidad universitaria y consumo responsable. A partir de esas concepciones, s e diseñó eimplementó un programa de capacitación y se evaluó su efectividad educativa en términos de aprendizajes obtenidos y formulación de proyectos para implementar en sus clubes. Los resultados muestran que, después de la implementación, los estudiantes ampliaron su visión sobre la sustentabilidad y su multidimensionalidad, así como las implicaciones prácticas que conlleva una universidad sustentable y la importancia de ser consumidores conscientes. | es_EC |

| dc.description.abstract-en | The work presents the design and evaluation of a training program in responsible consumption aimed at student clubs of Universidad Técnica del Norte, Ecuador. A self-administered survey was applied to 22 student leaders from 12 academic clubs from different faculties to diagnose their notions of university sustainability and responsible consumption. Based on these conceptions, a training program was designed and implemented and its educational effectiveness was evaluated in terms of learning obtained and formulation of projects to be implemented in their clubs. The results show that, after the implementation, the students broadened their vision of sustainability and its multidimensionality, as well as the practical implications of a sustainable university and the importance of being conscious consumers. | es_EC |
