| dc.description.abstract | Resumen: Un servicio eficiente que cumpla con los requerimientos para un producto de software de calidad es la decisión más compleja en un proyecto de desarrollo, usar Web Service REST va en aumento por su popularidad y la revolución que generó en la forma de acceso a la información, siendo un servicio que brinda una interacción cliente-servidor para el procesamiento de datos de forma sencilla, ágil y flexible, sin necesidad del estado de solicitudes, permitiendo integrar sistemas a gran escala. El marco de trabajo del servicio está basado en el modelo Vista Controlador, sus operaciones básicas son el eje para su caracterización y ventajas que posee. Se realizó un marco teórico que permite comprender desde su inicio todo lo que concierne a un Web Service REST. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica para descubrir e identificar qué es un Web Service REST y los beneficios que se encuentran inmersos en este servicio. | es_EC |

A theoretical framework was made that allows us to understand everything that concerns a Web Service REST from the outset.
