| Resumen : | The present research work was developed with the objective of analyzing how the lexical approach and the implementation of its strategies help to strengthen English vocabulary in fifth graders of the Luis Leoro Franco School. This research applied mixed methods for data collection, using qualitative and quantitative instruments. On the one hand, a questionnaire was applied as a quantitative instrument to the students with the purpose of identifying the most common vocabulary activities and their perception of the English teachers as a qualitative instrument to learn about the methodology they use, their knowledge of the lexical approach, and their point of view on vocabulary acquisition. |
