dc.description.abstractLa información se constituye actualmente en un activo dentro de las instituciones sean públicas o privadas, y con el avance de la tecnología se pone en riesgo la seguridad de esta información, debido a la serie de amenazas que se presentan en el internet, por lo que muchas de las instituciones se abastecen de herramientas para prevenir estos riesgos. El presente trabajo es una revisión sistemática de literatura (SRL) sobre los problemas que surgen en la seguridad de información en las Instituciones de Educación Superior, además de las medidas de seguridad empleadas para protegerla y las herramientas que utilizan para detectar y combatir los ataques informáticos. Para el efecto, se indagó, analizó y recopiló 35 artículos científicos de los últimos cinco años, extraídos de cuatro librerías más relevantes, siendo estas: ScienceDirect, Taylor & Francis, Esmerald Group Publishing y AIS eLibrary. Estos artículos científicos responden a cuatro interrogantes planteadas dentro de la investigación bibliográfica que se realizó. Con los resultados que se obtuvieron, se pudo identificar las problemáticas de seguridad, las políticas y por tanto la relación existente de estos factores con la cultura organizacional y, de esa manera salvaguardar la seguridad de la información en las IES.es_EC

dc.description.abstract-enThe information is currently constituted as an asset within the institutions, whether public or private, and with the technological advance the security of this information is put at risk, due to the set of threats that are presented on the Internet, many of the institutions have tools to prevent these risks. The present work is a systematic review of literature (SRL) on the problems that arise in information security in Higher Education also security measures used to protect it and the tools that are used to detect and battle informatic attacks. For the effect, 35 scientific articles from the last five years were investigated, analyzed and compiled, extracted from four most relevant libraries, being these: ScienceDirect, Taylor & Francis, Esmerald Group Publishing y AIS eLibrary. These scientific articles answer four questions posed within the bibliographic research that was carried out. With the results obtained, it was possible to identify the security issues, the policies and therefore the existing relationship of these factors with the organizational culture and, in that way safeguard the security of information in HEIs.es_EC
